envoy did me right

those many hours of occupying myself in airports for hours upon hours and sleeping on cold floors was ALLLL worth it when i was able to upgrade to first class (envoy) on the way to barcelona.

thanks to the gods of standby travel, there happened to be an open seat in envoy---a transatlantic legend. you see, it is obscenely expensive for non-standby travelers, and almost never available for standby.

but i was somehow lucky enough to fly to europe in my own luxurious, spacious, bed-like cubby, complete with three-course meals and neverending champagne, all for the puny price of $100... something that i will likely never experience again
